A big thanks to all of our donors who helped us raise 107% of our goal! With the funds raised, we were able to send our students on the annual graphic design trip. If you would still like to contribute to the Graphic Design Student Association, gifts can now be made here: http://www.asufoundation.org/GDSA

Who We Are

The Graphic Design Student Association (GDSA) at Arizona State University is a campus organization that represents the graphic design student body. GDSA is a vital resource for students to make their educational experience the best it can be. We provide students with a number of networking opportunities, ranging from guest speakers, studio nights, workshops and our annual highlight, the Spring Break trip.

If you would like to learn more please feel free to like us on Facebook or just check out our page and see what we are up to:

Our Annual Trip

The Annual Spring Break trip provides students an opportunity to experience a major American city through a design lens. Each year, GDSA organizes studio visits and firm tours in an elected city in order to broaden students perspective of what is going on in the professional world of design. During our visit, we will learn about current design trends and get a behind-the-scenes look at different studio environments. We receive advice from industry professionals, and see real-life applications of design fundamentals, extending our understanding of design applications. The trip encourages students to think about prospective internship and post-grad opportunities. The GDSA hopes to stimulate students to form what their expectations for a future workplace are and to think about what their contribution to this practice will be.

Why New York

This year we will be traveling to New York, a city known for its unique cultural experience. With its innovative approach to design, we will be exposed to multiple disciplines and expand our creative community. New York will provide networking opportunities that could lead to internships and future job offers.

How You Can Help

By supporting GDSA on this trip, you can assist in sending design students to experience all that New York has to offer. Your contribution can help fund airfare, hotel accommodations, or general travel expenses. Last year, we were able to financially assist 52 students on our trip to Chicago. Our goal this year is to provide 5 nights in a hotel for 40 aspiring graphic designers.

Thank You!
