ASU National Service-Learning Conference Cohort
What is Service-Learning?
Service-Learning a teaching methodology that enables students to apply knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to meaningful service in the community to meet unmet needs. The goal of Service-Learning is for students to grasp a greater understanding of content knowledge while being socially embedded citizens.
What is the National Service-Learning Conference?
The 28th Annual National Service-Learning Conference (NSLC) is an opportunity that will provide ASU students with the skills they need to make positive change in the world by engaging them in complex meaningful projects by bringing Service-Learning into their classroom and into the lives of their future students.
This event will provide the ASU Conference Cohort with the tools, resources, ideas, and support needed to affect positive change in Arizona schools and communities as well as across the globe.
Why do we need your support?
We seek your support to provide our ASU students with the opportunity to join more than one thousand students, educators, and government leaders from across the country and around the globe at the NSLC. Without help it wouldn’t be possible for our passionate future educators to attend and sharpen their Service-Learning skills to promote positive impact in Arizona.
This project currently has no updates.
